Iomega NAS systems are designed for small to midsize businesses and large enterprises, and provide support for file transfer protocols and synchronization of data stored on various platform-dependent servers connected to the network.
The Iomega NAS A300U “A” Series is a 1U 10/100 Ethernet rackmount server with three 40GB 7200 RPM drives and supports RAID 0, 1, and 5.
For more demanding environments, the Iomega P-Series NAS Servers offer hot-swappable drives and performance enhancements including Gigabit Ethernet. The P400U, P405U, and P410U NAS are 1U rack mountable. In addition, Iomega file servers feature dual 10/100 Ethernet, four 40GB 7200 RPM drives, and support multiple RAID levels, including RAID 5 with dedicated hot spare.
Iomega NAS P400m, P405m, and P410m servers using Microsoft Windows 2000 Server Appliance Kit 2.0, are intended for users who need Windows 2000 Server Active Directory service support and snapshot functionality, as well as local backup to tape.
