Multimedia: Audiotools v.four.00 Interim 2
Developer – Andrew Fish
Audiotools – a tool for direct recording (bypassing RAM) of an audio stream to a hard drive, and the file size is limited only by the capabilities of the OS. The program allows you to cut any recording into separate tracks automatically (in the absence of a signal) or manually. Recording can be done in WAV (PCM and ACM), WMA, AU, AIFF, MP3 and streaming MP3 formats. For control, you can organize an end-to-end channel. There is a CD music ripper and a set of sound processing utilities. There is a schedule recording function and work from the command line. Supports skins, scripts, ID3 tags, plugins and work with FreeDB. In addition, the program can be used to prepare and burn audio files to CD.
The new beta introduces a function to automatically select preset mixer settings when switching signal sources, and also fixes several problems that arose when using the loop-through.
