FastTrak TX2000 supports RAID levels 0, 1, 0 + 1 and JBOD with up to four Ultra ATA / 133 drives. TX2000 arrays can be remotely managed over TCP / IP networks using Promise Array Management (PAM) software for Windows systems. FastTrak TX2000 Pro shipment consists of TX2000 card and two hot-swappable Promise SuperSwap 1000 chassis in 5.25-inch system bay. Hot Swap mode is supported when two hard drives are connected in RAID 1 mirroring.

Support for motherboards equipped with 66 MHz PCI slots gives the TX2000 the ability to transfer data rates up to 266 MB per second. The TX2000’s onboard BIOS with 48-bit LBA support automatically recognizes and optimizes the performance of Ultra ATA drives, and supports drives larger than 137GB.
