CeBIT 2021: ATi on RV250 and RV300; Something About 128MB AIW Radeon 8500

The French colleagues from the Clubic website put all the points in ATi’s future plans by talking with them at the exhibition in Hanover. Here’s what we found out.

  • The company is not going to announce any Ultra Radeon 8500 at CeBIT.
  • All cards with ATI Radeon 8500 chips and 300 MHz chip and memory clock speed are overclocked versions and have nothing to do with the Canadian company.
  • Real novelties from ATi – RV250 and RV300, will appear a little later. The nearest announcement (although the timing has not been specified) will be the release of the RV250, and the RV300 will appear by the end of the year.
  • With regard to plans in the market, ATi expresses satisfaction with the development of the current situation and its partners

That is, in fact, all about the new graphics from ATi in the near future. As a “consolation prize” to our readers who are fans of ATi solutions, we are offering the specifications and a detailed photo of the new 128 MB All-In-Wonder Radeon 8500 card (taken from the Hot Hardware website), which we briefly mentioned yesterday:

    • Chip / memory – 275 MHz / 550 MHz DDR, 128 MB (this is not 230/380 MHz for a 64 MB model!)
    • DVI, VGA and TV outputs
    • Stereo TV tuner with 125 channels
    • TV-On-Demand – pause, record, play
    • Hydravision Dual Display
    • Video Immersion II
    • RF remote control

Indeed, this time the card is, as they say, to the maximum!
