New board for Pentium 4 with FSB 533 MHz from MSI

Photos of a poster from MSI with a photo and specifications of the Pentium 4 motherboard 645E Max2-LRU on the new SiS645DX chipset with support for FSB 133 MHz (or, if so usual, 533 MHz) appeared on the Web. According to Japanese sources, this board is expected to appear on sale in mid-April.

The new revision SiS645DX, replacing the current SiS645, differs from the previous support for new, but not yet announced, Pentium 4 processors with a 533 MHz bus. In addition to the new chipset, the 645E Max2-LRU board boasts an integrated LAN controller from Realtek, 5.1-channel AC’97 codec, again from Realtek, USB2.0 controller from NEC and integrated IDE RAID controller.
